My work as an MC and keynote speaker draws on decades of live broadcasting, high-performance
sport, policing, coaching and leadership.
I’ve worked inside high-performing teams and led them. I understand the responsibility of creating
clarity, earning trust, bringing people with you and responding calmly when plans change.
I also understand the privilege of being trusted with someone’s story.
When we share our stories honestly, we give others permission to tell theirs. We create moments of
connection in which people recognise part of themselves and feel less alone in what they’re carrying.
Whether I’m guiding an event or speaking from the stage, I want people to feel included in the
conversation and leave with something real they can take into what comes next.

audience into the experience and know when to lift the energy or create space.
My background in live television means I’m comfortable thinking on my feet, interviewing people and
responding when plans change. Preparation matters to me, but so does being present enough to
notice what the room needs.

My keynotes draw on a life lived across high-performance sport, policing, broadcasting, coaching,
leadership, culture, whānau, grief and change.
I speak about what happens beneath performance: the doubt people don’t see, the pressure behind
achievement, the identity we attach to our roles and the choices we make when life no longer looks
the way we expected.
I don’t tell these stories because I have everything sorted.
I tell them because stories connect us. When one person speaks honestly, it can give someone else
permission to understand and share their own experience.
The stories are the way in. What people can take from them is what matters.
